"The increased focus on teams and employee participation requires a new leadership style and some new leadership skills.  Employee participation requires leaders to be more facilitative and less controlling, to direct less and empower more.  Participative leaders must know how to involve others, build consensus, and get commitment from those they lead."

This one-day workshop provides the basic tools for more effective participation in teams.  It examines the roles played during meetings, discussions, and other team communications.  An emphasis is placed on facilitation to move processes forward versus dominating and controlling.
